About One Vote Matters
One Vote Matters is a politics blog that focuses on the business aspects of the process.
Regardless of party affiliation or ideology, every businessperson is influenced by politics every day. So much of how and why businesses run the way they do is a result of some legislation and/or regulation. We report (and sometimes even analyze) on how Congress, local and state governments and policies affect different industries and individuals.
And elections, whether they be national or local, have become big business as well. We explore how the economics of campaigning influences the outcome and tenor of the political process.
