West Virginia Primary Result
The Democrat voters in West Virginia proved that they don’t think that Hillary Clinton is out of the race for the nomination.
Clinton defeated Barack Obama in what can only be described as a landslide (especially at this stage of the contest).
Clinton won 67% of the vote and 20 of the 28 pledged delegates.
Obama got only 26% of the vote - and added 8 pledged delegates to his total.
7% of West Virginia Dems voted for John Edwards.
Per MSNBC - the delegate totals are now:
Obama: 1,598 (pledged) + 283 (estimated superdelegates) = 1,881
Clinton: 1,445 (pledged) + 276 (estimated superdelegates) = 1,721
